The short version

Unfollowo is built so that your Instagram data never reaches us. Your export file is read entirely inside your own browser, and nothing from it is uploaded, stored or shared. This page explains the details.

Your Instagram export

When you upload your Instagram data file, it is processed locally on your device using JavaScript. The file and its contents are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

As soon as you close or refresh the tab, all of that data is cleared from your browser's memory. We keep no copy.

What we do collect

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand general traffic (for example, how many people visit a page). This never includes your Instagram export or any content from it.

If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send so we can reply.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies to profile you. Any storage we use is limited to remembering basic preferences such as your chosen language.

Third-party services

The site is served through standard web infrastructure and may load common resources such as web fonts. These providers may process technical data like your IP address purely to deliver the page.

Your rights
